Mission Statement

To remain current on new intervention strategies, regulatory actions and management practices related to food safety and diseases of public health significance.

Objectives

  • Make recommendations to the AAAP Board of Directors for official action.
  • Interact with government agencies to provide guidance on regulatory issues pertaining to food safety and diseases of public health significance.
  • Serve as a scientific resource for poultry trade associations on issues pertaining to food safety and diseases of public health significance.
  • Provide an open forum for sharing information pertaining to food safety and diseases of public health significance.
