Please join the Respiratory Diseases Committee as we dive into “The Challenges and Promises of IBV Serotyping with qPCR and Sequencing.” Drs. Rodrigo Gallardo and Brian Jordan have vast research and diagnostic laboratory experience utilizing qPCR and first- and next-generation sequencing techniques, and Dr. TJ Gaydos has ample field experience in using this data to develop IB control programs. We begin this explainer on April 21st at 1pm EST and look forward to providing a better understanding of what the current IBV typing methods can tell us and where diagnostic services may be going from here.
