Title: Challenges and Promises of IBV Serotyping with qPCR and Sequencing

This webinar was held and recorded on April 21st, 2025 at 1pm EST. Please join the Respiratory Diseases Committee as we dive into “The Challenges and Promises of IBV Serotyping with qPCR and Sequencing.” Drs. Rodrigo Gallardo and Brian Jordan have vast research and diagnostic laboratory experience utilizing qPCR and first- and next-generation sequencing techniques, and Dr. TJ Gaydos has ample field experience in using this data to develop IB control programs.  We look forward to providing a better understanding of what the current IBV typing methods can tell us and where diagnostic services may be going from here. Title: Enterococcus cecorum review: A few answers and more questions 
Speaker: Dr. M. Mitsu Suyemoto

This webinar was held and recorded on May 12th, 2025 at 1pm EST. Join the Emerging Diseases committee in digging further into the pathogenesis of Enterococcus cecorum. M. Mitsu Suyemoto has researched Bacterial Pathogenesis and Molecular Genetics at NCSU for the past 17 years as a Research Specialist, with much of this time devoted to Enterococcus cecorum in the Borst laboratory. She joins the Emerging Diseases committee to speak on the subject of what we know of, and future research needs into, the pathogenesis of Enterococcus cecorum. Q&A to follow.
