In securing the poultry industry's future, our focus should be on sustainability, bird health and welfare, workforce, and disease prevention. Transparency and collaboration within the poultry value chain will help us to use emerging technologies to adapt in the face of challenges facing the industry.  Historically, vaccines administered to breeders provided protection against tenosynovitis and viral arthritis in the U.S. The current global incidence of reoviral disease reflects widespread distribution of variant viruses. In response, new vaccines containing contemporary strains of the virus are being developed to address the variants. Imposter syndrome runs rampant in the whole world, and veterinary medical professionals don't get a free pass. Even those people you think have it all together may share this affliction with you. Dr. Cherie Buisson will lay it all out about how to combat this annoying syndrome. Don't worry - you're normal...just like the rest of us!
