Objectives
- Make recommendations to the AAAP Board of Directors for official action.
- Interact with government agencies to provide guidance on regulatory issues pertaining to food safety and diseases of public health significance.
- Serve as a scientific resource for poultry trade associations on issues pertaining to food safety and diseases of public health significance.
- Provide an open forum for sharing information pertaining to food safety and diseases of public health significance.
Mission Statement
To remain current on new intervention strategies, regulatory actions and management practices related to food safety and diseases of public health significance in association to all aspects of the commercial poultry production chain which includes commercial meat-type turkeys and chickens and commercial egg production and processing.
