Introduction:

The AAAP Foundation/Cobb Scholarship awards one $5,000 scholarship to a 3rd or 4th year veterinary student interested in poultry medicine, currently enrolled and in good standing at an AVMA accredited and recognized school of veterinary medicine. The deadline for applications is November 1, and recipients will be notified by January 31.

Description:

One $5,000 scholarship is presented to a 3rd or 4th year veterinary student interested in poultry medicine, currently enrolled and in good standing at an AVMA accredited and recognized school of veterinary medicine.

Scholarships are awarded based on assessment of the following credentials:

1. Applicant’s academic record as provided by an official transcript from their academic institution.
2. Two recommendation forms.
3. CV to include experience related to poultry health and well-being and/or poultry food safety.
4. A brief essay (500 words or less) describing career goals.
