The 2022 ACPV hybrid workshop offers an opportunity for poultry veterinarians to gain knowledge of some of the technologies available to monitor areas such as health status, disease prevention, improving animal welfare, and food safety.
This program has been approved for 8 hours of continuing education credit in jurisdictions that recognize RACE approval.
Participants will also have access to 8 modules of the 32-module course developed by NC State University through Anprocampus titled, Data Analytics for the Poultry and Swine Industries beginning March 7th. The course is self-paced, interactive, and virtual. The modules will provide a short overview of data analytic techniques.

1. Statistical Thinking
2. Identifying Potential Root Causes
3. Data Visualization and Graphics
4. Compiling and Collecting Data
5. Data Preparation for Analysis
6. Logistical Regression
7. Decision Trees and Random Forests
8. Neural Networks
The modules include instruction, practical exercises, and examples. The course includes 5 hours for instruction, and 5 hours for activities and additional material.
The live program will be held in conjunction with the Western Poultry Disease Conference in Vancouver, Canada on April 3, 2022.
