AAAP Student Travel Awards

Deadline for submissions: April 1st

Students are the future of our association. An AAAP priority is to foster the career development of students and help them establish the long-term collaborative relationships that will make AAAP their professional home. The AAAP offers a limited number of Travel Awards to assist students in attending and participating in the AAAP Annual Meeting. The award(s) shall be competitive and shall be in the amount of up to $500 to help defray travel expenses to the AAAP Annual Meeting. The number of awards to be given will be determined by the AAAP Board each year. 

Application Requirements:

1. CV.
2. A letter of recommendation sent by the applicant’s current mentor/advisor sent to [email protected] or submit it online in the application form below.
3. A statement written by the applicant (250 words maximum) describing how the applicant expects to benefit from a travel award to attend the AAAP meeting.
4. Applicant must be an AAAP DVM or undergraduate student member.  Membership can be obtained at any time via the AAAP website. PhD or MS students are welcome to apply for the Avian Biosciences Travel Scholarship.
