The cover of this Special Issue features Drs. Levinus (Jan) de Blieck and Pat Blackwell, both of whom played a key role in the discovery and research of Avibacterium paragallinarum. Both were inducted into The World Veterinary Poultry Association Hall of Honour in 2013.
In the future, AAAP will send announcements like this to inform our membership of newly published Avian Diseases articles (available online) and the full release of each published issue. We hope that this will be of use to our membership to stay up to date with the journal.
